Q: Are Meditation, Gong Bath and working with Mandala religious?
A: They are not a religion. Although some religions practice meditation, use the gongs or create Mandala as ritual symbols, they are beneficial exercises to be enjoyed by everyone, with or without a religion. You don’t have to be a yogi to practice yoga. It’s the same with what I am offering.
Q: Do I have to sit cross legs?
A: No, you don’t. We focus on breathing during meditation exercise. You can sit in any positions which allow you to breath comfortably. We’ll talk about different positions during our first lesson.
Q: What do I have to wear?
A: Just wear anything you feel comfortable with, we will usually be sitting on a chair or lying on the floor.
Q: Do I have to bring anything?
A: Please bring a yoga mats, cushions and/or eye pillows, something that keep you comfy if you are attending a gong bath. You may also like to bring a small blanket when the weather get cooler. Some people bring a sleeping bags for the gong bath! Please bring a bottle of water to keep yourself hydrated and water is very good for grounding.
It is advised to have two hours elapse time between a proper meal and meditation practice.
